…but it will be tweeted, blogged, facebooked and more.

“#SpanishRevolution”

“Yes we Camp!”

“Democracia real ya!”

“Los Indignados”

“15-M”

“Acampada”

Just some of the names that are being given and used to to describe what is happening across Spain.

In every main plaza in every city around Spain, the young people of the nation are rallying together demanding change.

What is it all about?

People want change, everybody is tired of the same old politicians, bankers, multi-nationals acting only in the interest of the rich elite and the same old croynism. After years of waiting patiently for the economic crisis to pass and hoping for some good news and the lowering of the staggering 21% unnemployment, people have got together and through social networks have decided that the time to act is now.

The most important thing to recognise that this is a strongly non-violent protest. It is also very much not tied to any political parties. The movement is not just for communists, nor is it being run by anarchists, it is an open movement to all, whatever your persuasion. If you are disillusioned with how the country is being run and the powers that are, it is time to get active, get out there and show your support.
